Great, quiet drive

Theres not a lot to say on the whole. Ive used Western Digital hard drives for YEARS and had pretty reliable drives on the whole. This one has been extremely quiet and I like having the extra space for some videos. It replaces a former setup of dual 80gb WD EIDE drives and I like this setup much better and it really opened up the inside of the case for airflow and reduced heat by getting an extra drive out as well as the last of the EIDE cables.

This hard drive has been a life saver for all of my novels and photography. I had to change over from a EIDE with adapters yet it was worth all of the time and effort for insuring a safe and reliable source to store all of my valued and vital information.

This was easy to install in my icy dock enclosure I bought to go with this and the usb connection is automatically detected, I used windows to format the hardrive instead of using their software and it works great. I havent had any problems yet.
